The role of Luminate Education Group is to support our member organisations and people to deliver an inclusive and aspirational education to all. We unite together to create greater collective stability and influence locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. With more than 20,000 students, Leeds City College is one of the largest further education institutions in the country, and one of the region’s biggest apprenticeship providers.

Leeds Conservatoire
A higher education music and performing arts conservatoire that provides innovative music and performing arts degree courses to over 1,200 students, who are all taught by active industry experts.

Keighley College
With over 2,000 students, Keighley College has strong partnerships with local employers, and delivers a wide range of industry and community-led courses and apprenticeships that have been designed to meet the town’s economic needs.

With over 1,200 students, Harrogate College specialising in the provision of vocationally focused education and qualifications that give students the skills they need to progress to higher education or work in their chosen industry.

University Centre Leeds
With over 1,100 students, University Centre Leeds offers a range of higher education courses and foundation degrees, which provide students with industry and sector-specific qualifications and expertise. Part of Leeds City College, it has strong links with local employers and creates courses designed to meet the needs of the local economy.

Leeds Sixth Form College
With nearly 600 learners, Leeds Sixth Form College (LSFC) is part of Leeds City College, and offers a range of A level subjects. It is driven by its strong belief that every student has the capacity to excel, regardless of their background.

Pudsey Sixth Form College
Pudsey Sixth Form College opened in 2025, providing further educational opportunities for young people in West Leeds. The college offers A level and T Level courses along with a ‘Step Up to A Level’ GCSE programme. Pudsey has forged strong links with local schools and employers, and provides students with tailored support to help them reach their potential.
